How to reboot

The Reboot System: The Road to Rapid Success

how to get back on track
Maybe it'll be implemented in life 2.0

Many people throw away success, their dream bodies, and health down the toilet because life gets hard and they give up.

You don't throw away your laptop after it crashes once, do you? So why throw away other things in your life after one or two small setbacks? Success is waiting for you, all you have to do is keep moving towards it.

All successful people go through the same life difficulties as you and me. The mark of the highly successful is that they follow the strategies in this guide to reboot and succeed in the end.

The Benefits of the Reboot System

  • Achieve things you never thought possible
  • Get anything you set your mind onto
  • Be unstoppable
Why It Works

Our natural instinct is to avoid discomfort and do comfortable things. When things don't go our way, we tend to avoid them and give up. Successful people on the other hand, recognize that even if things get tough, they will persist and find a way to get what they want.

If you give up easily and get frustrated when you don't succeed immediately, then you'll be relieved to know that rebooting is a skill. And just like any skill, rebooting is learnable.

Let's see how you can develop this amazing quality.

How to Master Rebooting

"Everything is hard before it is easy” ― Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

The first key in your journey to becoming unstoppable is recognizing that recovering quickly from setbacks will be challenging at first. Your progress will seem slow, and sometimes it will seem like you're doing worse!

That is all part of the normal skill development curve. Your brain needs time to internalize the new skill. And then one day you will look back with amazement to see how far you've come.

You must make a commitment to never give up. Determine to persevere in everything that you do and do not accept failure. This will fortify you against future challenges and you will find them easier to deal with. Naturally, your personal commitment will grow and grow until you become bulletproof.

What to do the moment you fail

I've learned the following after years of research in the study of the most successful people and their habits.

1. Regain Composure

You must clear your head and replenish your drive, before you can take further action. It's very hard to do things when you are feeling discouraged and demotivated. Furthermore, most people add fuel to the fire by thinking negative or self-defeating thoughts such as:

  • I'm just not good enough
  • I knew this would fail
  • I will never make it

Saying such things when you encounter difficulty decreases your chance of success and invites failure.

Instead, you need to use affirmations that will motivate you, give you hope, and drive you forward to success. Imagine a time when you struggled with something and were about to give up when someone inspired you or gave you hope. Suddenly, you turned out around and snatched victory from the jaws of defeat.

Be your own motivator. Next time things get tough, try these affirmations:
  • "I am responsible"
  • "Everything is hard before it's easy"
  • "Time to get back to work"

2. Focus on the goal

Affirmations are a powerful tool, but they are only a short term solution. Unless you shift your focus and start building momentum again, you'll find yourself back where you started.

The next critical factor is focusing on your goal. Your goals will give you an even greater boost and drive to succeed. They will also guide you to the solution.

Ask these important questions
  • What do I want?
  • What is the goal here?
  • What am I trying to accomplish?
  • What is the very next physical step I can do to move forward?

3. Take action

Find out what's the next possible action that will bring you closer to your goal and do it.

You always have options and some options are better than others. Choosing the better option even at the last minute can make a BIG difference. Even if you end up at McDonalds, your meal choice can make the difference between 300 and 3,000 calories.

Examples

Say you procrastinated on going to the gym and now it's closed, what should you do?

  • What's my goal? To be more active and get in shape.
  • What can I do right now that will get me closer to my goal? I can walk or jog for 10 minutes or even do some bodyweight exercises at home.

Or if you find yourself in the middle of devouring a cheat meal.

Stop and ask, what's my goal? What can I do to get closer to it? One is to skip dessert and moderate best I can.

No matter how far down the wrong road you have gone, turn back ― Turkish proverb

I Will Succeed

Now you have a plan for dealing with future difficulties and crisis. Your success is guaranteed as long as you follow this steps, lets review:

The Routine
  1. I can do it. Regain your footing with positive words. Create or find affirmations that inspire and motivate you and use them regularly.
  2. What do I want? Ask yourself that over and over again. Get clarity and move forward.
  3. Take action. Nothing happens until you act. Now you know what to do, get started.

Take a couple of minutes to write down this system and your personal affirmations to use. You will be shocked how effective this system is next time you encounter a challenge.

Question: How do you get yourself back on track? Do you have any tips or strategies to share?
